There is an interesting story on how to remember the most 'states' in United States of America. © is with Shankar Sir.
The story revolves around our heroine named "Kaliamma". As
she is highly skilled software professional [geeky] she got promoted to the
next level of her career very soon and her Employer offered long-term
assignment to US. She was too happy and excited and started packing her luggage.
As she leaves for US let us all join in her tour.
She began her journey with the COW states basically California
Oregon Washington. As she
was frequently posted to nearby states she got bugged and searched for a Nev[w] Adda aka Nevada to hide from her
employer. Literally she was absconding. After lot of struggle she finally found
a mountain Montana which she
thought is safe place to hide. During her stay here she found a tribe lived near that mountain and every morning they used to pray as Idaho Utah. Kaliamma found this as disturbing and left that mountain and went in search of a hideout taking Lord Hari Name
and with his grace she landed in Arizona. There she
wanted to pursue Moksha so
she started chanting OM OM which created a Wyoming echo in her mind. She got bored with this too. Now she
wanted to join the company back and the company demanded her to wear a collared shirt
which she got in Colorado. This time she took a nice home to live too. One fine Friday
evening she returned from her routine work and was very thirsty, so she decided
to have a fruit juice but there was no Fruit Mixer at her place and she decided to get
a new
one and went out to New Mexico. She happily
had the juice and slept. Next day was weekend. Hurreeeyyy!!! So she decided to
go for a shopping and called a taxi. She said take me to Texas [largest
producer of textile, oil and mainland of USA], driver didn't acknowledge, so she asked him again OK Na Oklahoma Kansas
Nebraska. She
was in middle of her shopping and she started feeling hungry and went to Dakota [North & South] to have pakoda. She had lot of pakodas and
her stomach gets upset. Now she wants to have a mini soda Minnesota. After having soda she felt sleepy and
decided to take a nap in nearby garden. After she woke up, to her surprise she
found that her purse was missing so she started screaming ‘ayyawwa’,‘ayyo’ Iowa Ohio. Noticing this, people started gathering
and they started making noise Illinois. In
that crowd, an Indian was standing Indiana.
Kaliamma fell in love with him and now she wanted to date. The guy agreed too
and so they chose Kentucky Fried Chicken in short Kentucky, as the girl was from south she liked Mirchi most Michigan and had spicy chicken meals. After date they decided to play tennis
Tennessee
[World’s first multi-purpose project called Tennessee Valley Authority started here, and India’s first multi-purpose project is DVC i.e. Damodar Valley Project].
But the guy was addicted to arak Arkansas.
She felt sad and left him. Whenever Kaliamma is sad she sips watermelon juice Mississippi. Her life turned into misery Missouri. She went mad, lost her control Louisiana.
But she was still remembering him by looking to their photos in her album Alabama. In the meanwhile a new guy
was hired at her workplace named George
Georgia.
Daily she used to receive flowers
from him Florida.
Over a period of time their friendship turned into love and they both wanted to
get marry. But George mother asked her to convert and renamed her as Carolina. Now Kaliamma has become Carolina [North & South].
Kaliamma alias Carolina always dreamt of his guy to be as slim as pencil Pennsylvania and Virgin Virginia [Top exporter of Tobacco
and Coal, now it’s been surpassed by Computer Chips]. And [un]fortunately George
was meeting both of these criteria. So they got married Maryland and got settled in New York. But the real problem started
here. As they both belong to different culture, nation, their relationship was at
the edge and they decided to cut down
the connection Connecticut.
Now George has established a dairy with Jersey
cows New
Jersey and Kaliamma resigned her job and pursuing her higher studies
at Massachusetts.
